Located 50 miles to the northeast of Temuco, inside Las Araucarias is on a slope of the Llaima volcano. The ski area is about 850 acres, serviced by four lifts.

Llaima is an active volcano that recently made international headlines when it erupted on New Year’s Day, 2008. This only adds to the mystique of this wonderful, enchanted land.
