Valle Nevado is one of the most popular resorts in Chile. It is also part of the biggest ski area in the southern hemisphere. Developed on the slopes of El Plomo, at an altitude of 10,000 feet, this aptly named “snow valley” offers over 3,000 acres of powder snow skiing terrain with almost every imaginable type of run, suitable for either skiing or snow boarding in 23 miles of powdery slopes.

From within the resort there is trail access into El Colorado and La Parva centers, giving you a total of 113 trails and 43 lifts.

Activities
Skiing - Very well groomed slopes, on 37 trails with various degrees of difficulty (color marked). Access to additional centers (pass required) and trails. 11 lifts including one high speed detachable quad chair.

Snowboarding - Facilities include a snow park and half pipe. Valle Nevado is the only southern hemisphere site for the World Cup of Snowboard. You can expect to see famous snowboarders practice here.

Heliski - Take off from the resort’s heliport to heights up to 13,000 feet. Experienced guides will help you along the 6,000 foot descent overlooking the valley.

Getting There

By Car: Costanera Norte, Av. Kennedy stay on Av. las Condes until the road to Farellones. Continue until curve 40, where you take the detour to Valle Nevado for about 15 minutes.
Shuttle: Shuttle service is available from most hotels in or near Las Condes.
